Each school year, SLU SNA dedicates it's service opportunities and fundraising efforts to one particular organization. For the 2017-208 school year, that focus is on LifeBridge Partnership.
LifeBridge Partnership's mission is: "empowering people with disabilities to develop skill for independence and to actively participate in the community."
We will specifically be helping with their SPARK program, which is a youth program offered to Gateway School Complex students. This program grants students the opportunity to practice skills like developing relationships, communicating with others, monetary transactions, and safety awareness.
Opportunities to volunteer will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5 pm. You are able to just sign up for one day, or sign up every week! They need at least 2 volunteers each day, and you must provide your own transportation.
If you are a member of SNA and would like to volunteer, sign up here!
